I had the pleasure of working with Gary at Lewisham Hospital in 2000, when I was working with Jane Linsell and the cancer collaborative. Gary made coming to work fun, and he was a great mate, who did not stand for bull shit. Gary was a force of nature, with so much life and goodness oozing out of him.
